Welcome to this week’s crime and community update for the Oscott area. Our neighbourhood team remains committed to tackling key crime issues affecting residents, especially around domestic abuse, robbery, burglary, and vehicle crime. We also continue to engage with schools and local partners to provide early intervention and support.

➡️ Key-less entry theft remains a concern. Please use Faraday pouches, remove visible items, and consider physical deterrents like steering wheel locks.

Team Highlights

Our SIPO attended Ronin Gym who were hosting the 5UP summer camps. We looked at the implications of ASB. Some lovely commentary and discussion from our young people.

Inspector Goodwin returns to the Perry Barr area after initially starting his career here on the 10th April 2000. He has always enjoyed working with the people of this great Community. "My teams and I will be relentless in supporting those who live and work in our areas.”

Inspector Goodwin, Sergeant Rai and PCSO Quirk linked in with the recruitment team for West Midlands Police, and Firearm PCs in Perry Barr One Stop. It was great to speak with you all.
